Koshur Scientist is Kashmir’s first homegrown edtech startup with a mission to transform education for Classes 8th, 9th, and 10th by blending academic excellence, modern skills, and mental well-being all tailored to the needs of Kashmiri students.Founded in 2022 by Muhammad Salman, a passionate educator and innovator, Koshur Scientist is not just another coaching center — it’s a movement. We are building a future where every Kashmiri student, regardless of their background or school, has access to top-quality education, cutting-edge tech skills, and the right career guidance to succeed in the real world.

At Koshur Scientist, our students go beyond textbooks with regular sessions in coding, AI, hands-on making, robotics, public speaking, and research thinking ensuring they get the same futuristic learning as students in metro cities

🧘 Mental Health

We partner with counselors, doctors, and domain experts to help students stay mentally healthy, emotionally confident, and career-ready. From stress management to career counseling, we’ve got them covered.

Our Story

Koshur Scientist was born from a simple yet powerful question:

“Why do Kashmiri students lag behind in real-world skills and exposure, despite being academically bright?”

We realized that while our students excel in exams, they often lack access to the kind of practical learning and guidance that builds confidence and future readiness. To bridge this gap, we started by launching a YouTube channel that offered something different—free, high-quality lessons, real science experiments, tech demos, and career talks tailored for Kashmiri students. Within months, the channel crossed 100K+ views and gained over 1.2K followers, proving that the need was real—and the response, overwhelming.

Over time, we evolved into a structured edtech platform now offering two key programs:

An affordable, one-time course covering the full JKBOSE syllabus for Classes 8–10
